Bio
My name is Morghan Walrich, and I am currently a student at the University of South Florida's College of Nursing. I am just finishing my fifth, and final semester of the upper division nursing program and will be graduating with a Bachelors of Science with a focus in Nursing in May 2014. I am originally from upstate New York, and moved with my parents to West Palm Beach when I was eight years old. My family has lived in Jupiter, FL for close to fifteen years. I have been living in the Tampa area the past five years since starting my academic career at USF. I plan to make Tampa home for a while longer, as I hope to enter USF's Nursing Masters program of Pediatrics next fall 2015. I have greatly enjoyed doing the majority of my clinical work at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, as well as two semesters at All Children's Hospital for my Pediatric clinical and preceptorship hours. I was honored to spend my preceptorship in the NICU at All Children's Hospital. I have always had a heart for children, so I definitely feel that experience helped me practice and build on the skills I will need as a neonatal or pediatric nurse in the near future. I am greatly looking forward to beginning my journey as a nurse and eventual Nurse Practitioner, and am thankful for the wonderful education that has prepared me for success in the field of nursing. There are so many wonderful opportunities that await, and I couldn't be more thrilled to start this new chapter of my life!
